Welcome to the Jake Turner Foundation, a scholarship fund dedicated to honoring the life and spirit of our beloved friend, son, and brother, Jake Turner.
Jake was a shining star at Carterville High School, and in life. He touched the lives of many with his contagious smile, infectious energy, and kind spirit. We created the Jake Turner Foundation to continue his legacy and ensure that his memory lives on forever.
Through our scholarship fund, we are committed to helping deserving Carterville High School students pursue their dreams and achieve success in their academic and professional pursuits.
Our goal is to provide financial assistance to students who embody the same qualities that made Jake so special – warmth, kindness, adventure and a dedication to teamwork.

For any Graduating Carterville High school Student
This scholarship is not aimed towards the straight A students. There are plenty of scholarships for that. This scholarship is to recognize someone who embodies the type of person Jake was. The teammate who held the rest of the team together from the bench, the person who doesn’t judge someone based on their “status”, someone who is an active member of their community, someone who makes an impact on others. Jake was full of life and had so many aspirations. He was bigger than life. We are here to help somebody make their goals and aspirations obtainable.
